Does Your Big Idea Deserve a Big Award? See If Your Business is Eligible for the Dream Big Awards Today – Megan Trzcinski, U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Every year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Metlife, holds the Dream Big Gala in Washington, D.C., to honor the small businesses that continue to grow America’s economy. During the Gala, the Chamber will announce the winners of the Dream Big Awards; special achievements that highlight and celebrate truly exceptional entrepreneurs. To find out more, we recently sat down with Megan Trzcinski, Director of Member Relations for Small Business Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

How Does it Work?

A business must meet the following requirements to be eligible:

The 2019 Small Business of the Year Award Winner will receive a $25,000 Prize national recognition. In addition to the Small Business of the Year Award, there are six other business achievement awards including:

  1. Emerging Business Award
  2. Green/Sustainable Business Award
  3. Minority-Owned Business Award
  4. Veteran-Owned Business Award
  5. Woman-Owned Business Award
  6. Young Entrepreneur Achievement Award

Finalists for each of the business achievement awards will also be entered into the Community Excellence Award. The Community Excellence Award recognizes a small business that has demonstrated an exemplary level of leadership and community engagement to positively impact the quality of life in its community.

The Dream Big Awards program winners are honored at the CO- Summit in Washington, D.C. October 16-17, 2019.
