How This Local Tech Company Quickly Expanded It’s Offering to Provide COVID-19 Testing Solutions to Employers and Government Agencies – Justin Bellante, BioIQ

Author: ASBN Newsroom

On today’s episode of The Atlanta Small Business Show we are joined by tech entrepreneur, Justin Bellante. Justin is the founder and CEO of BioIQ, headquartered right here in Atlanta, Georgia.

BioIQ helps people navigate to a broad set of health services at retail locations or in their home. BioIQ utilizes data analytics to simplify health testing and immunization programs for health plans, employers and government agencies. Notable customers include Walmart and Sam’s Club. The company’s platform configures and connects partner solutions, including national laboratories, diagnostics companies, digital health solution and more.

Bellante started BioIQ in response to the death a loved one. As an engineer, he looked at the world through physics and thermodynamics — as a large system made up of smaller systems. Throughout the past 15 years, he has used that lens to innovate within the healthcare system, with a focus on helping millions of people more easily access and navigate the system to better understand their health and take action.

Today Jim and Justin discuss the company’s start-up, their discussion to move their headquarters from California to Atlanta, their latest funding round, a recent partnership with Phosphorus Laboratories to offer an at-home test kit for COVID-19 testing, as well as future plans for the company.
