SBA Administrator Guzman hosts Inaugural Artificial Intelligence Small Business Summit

Author: Jasmine Kiniklis

Yesterday, on December 10, Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), hosted the inaugural AI Small Business Summit in Atlanta.

During the event, she highlighted the launch of the SBA’s AI for Small Business Resource Hub, a platform offering free resources and opportunities for small business owners to explore the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in their operations. The hub aims to empower entrepreneurs with the tools needed to leverage AI for growth, efficiency, and innovation.

The summit, held in partnership with Georgia Tech, provided a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs, community leaders, and resource partners to come together and learn about practical and effective ways to integrate AI into their businesses.

AI is a valuable tool that can streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and drive business success in an increasingly tech-driven economy.

Administrator Guzman, who is celebrated as the resounding voice for more than 34 million U.S. small businesses, continues to advocate for resources that promote the growth and sustainability of small businesses across the country.

Under her leadership, the SBA has contributed to a record-breaking number of new business applications — over 20 million nationwide — with more than 1 million of those applications coming from Georgia alone. Her ongoing efforts highlight the commitment of the Biden-Harris administration to support small businesses and entrepreneurs.
